Port Wine Cheese Spread

cheese

A cheese snack we all love, our Port Wine DB Cheese Spread juxtaposes the caramel and dark fruit tones of ruby port with the sharp, savory notes of aged cheddar. With the scoopable consistency we love in our spreads, this DB Signature Cheese is sure to be rolled up, stuffed into, and spooned about. Port is a tried-and-true cheese pairing, bringing a range of sweet, fruity, and toasty notes that bring out the best of the cheese. Pair with a dark, nutty beer and a big bowl of pretzels or pumpernickel bread and a hearty grain mustard. Create a traditional Christmas cheese ball by scooping some of the cheese and rolling it about it a pan of chopped pecans or slivered almonds.

Roasted Garlic & Herb Cheese Spread

cheese

This Roasted Garlic & Herb DB Cheese Spread features savory herbs joined with garlic and onion in a cheddar-based spread that's anything but short on flavor. Consider it the sibling of Abruzzee, Di Bruno's classic recipe, but a milder version. If you're looking for a bit less heat, this Roasted Garlic & Herb Spread delivers a generous dose of garlic-y flavor in a snackable little tub!

To make fabulous garlic bread, split a baguette and spread with a blend of butter, Grated Pecorino Romano, and Roasted Garlic & Herb Spread. When you place this under the broiler, you'll know it's done by the tell-tale browning ridges.

Abbruzze Cheese Spread

cheese

Loaded with zesty garlic and plenty of red chiles, Abbruzze Cheese Spread is the classic spicy treat of the Italian Market. With a rich cheddar base for spreading, dipping, or even cooking, this is definitely Philadelphia's new classic. Di Bruno's founders, Danny and Joe DiBruno, hail from Abruzzo, Italy, and sun-dried diavolino ("little devil") peppers are a ubiquitous seasoning in this region. Though South Philadelphia may be a far cry from the lush pastoral vistas of Abruzzo, Danny and Joe chose to evoke their native seasoning tossing a healthy sprinkle of red chiles into dishes that have become local classics. Abbruzze is perfect on a crostini, but this versatile spread is also delicious in a spicy mac & cheese or on any hot or cold sandwich.
