Hilmar Cheese Company, Inc., established in 1984, is a privately held corporation owned by 11 dairy families. Located in California’s Central Valley, Hilmar Cheese Company’s headquarters is the world’s largest single-site manufacturing operation of cheese and whey products. A new Innovation Center contains the latest pilot plant and applications equipment, test kitchen and sampling area. A second manufacturing facility in Dalhart, Texas, expands the flexibility of cheese and whey protein production. Hilmar Cheese Company is SQF certified and both facilities meet the requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) for food safety systems. Our cheese and whey products are Kosher, Halal and EU approved.
