Meet the Cheesemaker
Christophe Megevand is head cheesemaker at Schuman Cheese, where he puts 38 years of experience formulating and crafting hard and soft cheeses to work every day. Christophe, who was raised in France and trained in the preparation of French artisan cheeses, oversees the production of the entire line of Schuman cheeses, including the Cello and Yellow Door Creamery brands, as well as the development of several other specialty cheeses. He is genuinely passionate about his craft, and it shows in the exciting offerings he takes personal pride in creating.

Cello Copper Kettle Parmesan
This Parmesan has the rich, nutty authentic flavor of Grana Padano. Made with strict -traditional methods, this award-winning cheese is produced using the highest quality ingredients. Its crunchy texture and robust flavor are the result of brining in natural sea salt and aging in a temperature-controlled environment. Each wheel is hand selected once its intense flavor has reached the peak of perfection. The Cello Riserva Family of hard cheese wheels includes Artisan Parmesan, Traditional Romano, Asiago, and Fontal.
